Harput Alacalı Mosque

Built in 1203–1204 during the Artuqid era, the Alacalı Mosque carries the refined stone craftsmanship of its time. Its name derives from the alternating black and white stones adorning its walls and minaret. Modest in scale yet rich in spirit, the mosque has stood for centuries like a silent prayer on the slopes of Harput.
