YKKS – Yapı Kredi Culture & Arts, located in the heart of Istanbul’s Beyoğlu district, stands out as one of the city’s key cultural and artistic landmarks. More than just a building, it represents a dynamic meeting point where history, architecture, and contemporary art converge.

Although reintroduced as a modern structure, YKKS carries the architectural legacy of Paul Schmitthener’s 1958 design. This transformation reflects a balanced approach that preserves historical continuity while addressing contemporary functional and aesthetic needs.

Fiberli developed tailored lighting solutions for this special project to highlight the building’s architectural character. LLK products used in interior spaces provide concealed, uniform, and comfortable illumination in the library areas, while WL solutions applied on the exterior emphasize the architectural lines of the building.

As a result, with Fiberli’s lighting approach, YKKS continues to stand as a prominent architectural symbol that enriches Istanbul’s cultural and artistic life even after dark.
