Rising 211 meters above the capital city Ashgabat, the Turkmenistan TV Tower stands as the tallest structure in the country and a remarkable architectural landmark. Its iconic Oguz Khan Star, recognized by Guinness World Records as the “World’s Largest Architectural Star,” makes the tower one of the most distinctive elements of the city skyline.
Fiberli is proud to have provided the complete facade lighting solution for this extraordinary structure. Our design approach focused on enhancing the tower’s symbolic architectural form while ensuring strong nighttime visibility across Ashgabat. To achieve this, we developed a layered lighting strategy using a wide range of product families tailored to the geometric and technical requirements of the tower.
Using WLM, WH, WL, Supreme, WH9, WLT and LL fixtures, we delivered a balanced combination of power, optics and beam control. Each product was carefully selected to meet the specific illumination needs of different sections of the tower, creating a homogeneous and visually striking lighting effect across the entire facade.
With this project, Fiberli contributed a complete and durable lighting solution to one of Turkmenistan’s most iconic structures—reinforcing its presence on the Ashgabat skyline and highlighting the world-famous architectural star with refined illumination.
